Company: A private Limited Company which is into manufacturing of Automotive sheet metal and Machining part for Automotive and aerospace
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the Human Resources and Administration functions of the
manufacturing unit, ensuring alignment with business goals, statutory compliance,
employee engagement,
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding,
confirmation, on boarding.
Maintain and update employee records, and personnel files.
Ensure timely processing of payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management.
2. Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws (Factories Act, ID Act,
ESI, PF, Gratuity, and all applicable statutes).
Liaise with government authorities (Labour Department, Factory Inspectorate,
etc.).
Handle employee interactions, grievance redressal, and disciplinary
actions ,
3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Coordinate with department heads to forecast manpower requirements.
Manage recruitment for blue-collar and staff positions through internal and
external sources.
Conduct interviews, reference checks, background verifications and issue
appointment letters.
4. Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate technical, safety, and soft skills training.
Maintain training calendars and records as per ISO/TS requirements.
5. Performance Management
Facilitate the annual performance appraisal process.
Support line managers in setting KPI& KRAs and conducting performance reviews.
Identify high performers and succession planning needs.
6. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Organize employee engagement activities, welfare
Ensure implementation of POSH, safety, and health initiatives.
Address employee grievances and promote a positive work culture.
7. Administration & Facility Management
Oversee security, housekeeping, canteen, and general administration.
Manage vendor contracts and ensure cost-effective facility operations.
Ensure upkeep of infrastructure and compliance with safety norms.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR best practices
Strong in recruitment strategies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment
Language proficiency – Kannada, English and Hindi.
