HR Manager - Payroll and Benefits

We are currently seeking an HR Manager for our client in Greer, SC. This is an immediate, direct hire opportunity.

Are you an HR professional looking to make a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our client is looking for an HR Operations Manager to become a key player on the HR leadership team at their manufacturing facility! This position is a direct hire position.


Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year (based on experience)

They're looking for a skilled and passionate Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of HR strategy and operations with a strong emphasis on payroll and benefits administration.

What You’ll Do

As the HR Manager, you will be the go-to leader for all human resources functions. You'll play a critical role in shaping the company culture, aligning HR strategies with business goals, and ensuring we stay compliant and competitive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Champion employee relations and maintain a healthy work environment
  • Monitor employee engagement, reduce turnover, and improve retention
  • Manage employee benefit programs and workers' compensation claims
  • Champion the payroll process
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Maintain and manage accurate records and documentation
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct pay surveys, evaluate jobs, and recommend compensation adjustments
  • Forecast employment needs and support talent acquisition efforts

What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about people as they are about results. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Proven experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • 3+ Years experience in payroll processing
  • 3+ years experience in benefits administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and HRIS systems (ADP a plus)
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
