Job Title: HR Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to support day-to-day human resources operations in compliance with Qatar Labour Law. The role involves handling recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and government-related documentation while ensuring smooth HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities (screening, interviews, offers).
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate joining formalities and employee orientation.

HR Operations

  • Maintain and update employee records (digital and physical files).
  • Manage attendance, leave records, and overtime tracking.
  • Support payroll inputs and coordinate with finance/payroll teams.
  • Handle employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.

Government & Compliance

  • Process visas, QID, medicals, fingerprinting, and MOL documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law and company HR policies.
  • Coordinate with literary agent / PRO for government-related tasks.

Employee Relations

  • Support grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist in performance appraisal and employee engagement activities.
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, leave, attendance).
  • Assist in audits and management reporting as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of HR experience in Qatar (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and visa procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in construction, contracting, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Arabic language skills (advantage).
  • Immediate availability or short notice period.
