Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to support day-to-day human resources operations in compliance with Qatar Labour Law. The role involves handling recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and government-related documentation while ensuring smooth HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities (screening, interviews, offers).
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate joining formalities and employee orientation.
HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records (digital and physical files).
- Manage attendance, leave records, and overtime tracking.
- Support payroll inputs and coordinate with finance/payroll teams.
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
Government & Compliance
- Process visas, QID, medicals, fingerprinting, and MOL documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law and company HR policies.
- Coordinate with literary agent / PRO for government-related tasks.
Employee Relations
- Support grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
- Assist in performance appraisal and employee engagement activities.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, leave, attendance).
- Assist in audits and management reporting as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of HR experience in Qatar (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and visa procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in construction, contracting, or manufacturing sectors.
- Arabic language skills (advantage).
- Immediate availability or short notice period.
