Job Description – HR Officer
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager
Role Summary
The HR Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws, and supporting management in recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and staff welfare.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process:
- Job postings, CV screening, interviews, and offers
- Coordinate onboarding and joining formalities
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and joining documents
- Maintain employee records and personnel files
Employee Records & Documentation
- Maintain complete and up-to-date employee files (physical & soft copies)
- Track probation periods, confirmations, and contract renewals
- Maintain staff master database
Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination
- Monitor daily attendance (biometric / manual)
- Maintain leave records (annual, sick, unpaid)
- Prepare attendance and OT reports for payroll processing
- Coordinate with Accounts for timely salary processing
Payroll & Benefits
- Assist in payroll preparation and verification
- Handle employee benefits including:
- Medical insurance enrollment and renewals
- Leave salary and end-of-service calculations
- Maintain salary structure and benefits records
Compliance & Labor Relations
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and MOHRE requirements
- Coordinate visa, labor contracts, and employee documentation
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters
- Maintain warning letters, notices, and investigation records
HR Policies & SOPs
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures
- Assist in drafting and updating HR SOPs
- Educate employees on company policies and code of conduct
Employee Welfare & Accommodation (if applicable)
- Coordinate staff accommodation allocation
- Monitor accommodation cleanliness and schedules
- Handle staff welfare issues and complaints
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare HR reports for management:
- Attendance summary
- Leave summary
- Headcount report
- Support audits and management reviews
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years HR experience, preferably in construction / fit-out industry
- UAE HR experience and labor law knowledge preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and email communication
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
