HR Officer (Constructions)

We are looking for a HR manager for our new project Contractor company to prepare, manage and file documents for our employees .

Ultimately, you’ll support our procedures maintaining transparent, up-to-date and easily traceable documents.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes work with personnel in accordance with the general goals of the company's development and specific areas of personnel policy in order to achieve the effective use and professional development of employees.
  • Provides staffing of the company with employees of the necessary professions, specialties and qualifications.
  • Determines the need for personnel, studies the labor market in order to determine possible sources of providing the necessary personnel.
  • Carries out recruitment, conducts interviews with job candidates.
  • Organizes personnel training, coordinates the work to improve the skills of employees and develop their business careers.
  • Communicates information on HR issues and key HR decisions to all employees.
  • Organizes the evaluation of the results of labor activity of employees, certification, competitions for filling vacancies.
  • Together with the heads of structural divisions, participates in decision-making on issues of hiring, transfer, promotion, demotion, imposition of administrative penalties, and dismissal of employees.
  • Develops a system for assessing the business and personal qualities of employees, motivating their promotion.
  • Advise managers of different levels on the organization of personnel management.
  • Takes part in planning the social development of the team, resolving labor disputes and conflicts.
  • Draws up and draws up employment contracts and contracts, maintains personal files of employees and other personnel documentation.
  • Supervises subordinate employees.
  • Complies with the Internal Labor Regulations and other local regulations of the organization.
  • Complies with internal rules and regulations of labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation and fire protection.
  • Ensures cleanliness and order in his workplace.
  • Fulfills, within the framework of the employment contract, the orders of the employees to whom he is subordinate in accordance with this instruction.

  • Providing administrative support on core HR processes.
  • Answering telephone calls relating to HR issues.
  • Receiving and tracking employment applications.
  • Tasheel services & Tawjeeh services.
  • Prepare Database of employees in HR Software.
  • Answering questions about employee salary and benefits.
  • Explaining work instructions and duties to new employees.
  • Developing welcome packs for new employees.
  • Document controller.
  • Ordering stationary that will be used in the HR department.
  • Efficiently managing a team of drivers and vehicles.
  • Photocopies, scanning and filing.
  • Keeps and updates soft & hard copies of all employee passports, employment cards, and Emirates ID.
  • Conducting ongoing quality inspections.

Requirements and skills

  • Location: currently living in UAE
  • Fluent English
  • More than 2 years of experience in administrative work in Contractor company
  • Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
  • Familiarity with project management
  • Basic knowledge of labor and corporate law
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
  • Proficient typing and editing skills
  • Data organization skills
  • Attention to detail
