Role Overview

The HR Officer – Site is responsible for supporting day‑to‑day human resources operations at the project site in Ras Laffan. The role ensures compliance with Qatar Labour Law, company HR policies, and client requirements while providing effective HR support to site management and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle site‑based HR operations including employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave, and timesheets.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of project personnel.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, company policies, and client requirements.
• Support payroll inputs, overtime records, and coordination with head office HR/payroll teams.
• Assist in visa, work permit, medical, and gate pass processing for site employees.
• Address employee queries related to HR matters and support grievance handling.
• Coordinate with site management on manpower planning and workforce requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports for management review.
• Support HR audits, inspections, and client requirements as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of HR experience, preferably in Oil & Gas or construction projects in Qatar (Ras Laffan)
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Qatar Labour Law and site HR operations.
• Skills: Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with HR systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently at site and manage multiple priorities.
