Summary
The Human Resources department is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join their team. This position is responsible for overseeing the full employee life cycle with a primary focus on onboarding, offboarding and record management.
Responsibilities

Manages the employee life cycle including but not limited to; posting and tracking vacant positions, extending employment offers, hiring, onboarding, conducting orientations, processing transfers and coordinating offboarding of staff.

Serve as the liaison between new hires and internal departments to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.

Maintain personnel files in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, ensuring accuary, organization and confidentiality.

Organize and update a wide variety of manual and electronic records (e.g., contracts, applications, salary records, certifications, evaluations, grievances, hearings, legal documentation, etc.) to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Track and maintain records related to tenure, stipends, induction mentors, and completion of induction programs.

Respond to inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing accurate information or referring to appropriate personnel.

Process payroll notifications for professional staff including new hires, resignations, and transfers.

Support daily administrative tasks and functions of the HR department.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years of human resources experience, with a focus on high-volume onboarding preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, multitask effectively, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
