HR Onboarding Specialist

Automated Health Systems, a dynamic healthcare management company, is seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist to support employee onboarding and HR operations in a fast-paced healthcare and contact center environment. This role is responsible for coordinating onboarding activities, managing employment documentation, and ensuring new hires are successfully prepared for employment.

The HR Onboarding Specialist works closely with Human Resources, recruiting teams, operational leadership, and IT departments to coordinate employee onboarding, system access, equipment setup, and offboarding activities. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth employee experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and security procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires including orientation scheduling and training coordination
  • Manage pre-employment requirements such as background checks, I-9 verification, and onboarding documentation
  • Partner with IT teams to coordinate system access, equipment setup, email accounts, and onboarding technology needs for new hires
  • Coordinate employee offboarding activities including system access removal, equipment return, and exit documentation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employees during onboarding and transition processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation within HR systems
  • Track onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure compliance with company policies and security requirements
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams and hiring managers to support staffing readiness and onboarding timelines
  • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding sessions
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to onboarding, HR processes, and access requests
  • Support HR audits, reporting, and administrative projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of HR, onboarding, or administrative experience
  • Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes in a high-volume environment preferred
  • Experience coordinating with IT teams for employee access and equipment management preferred
  • Knowledge of onboarding procedures, I-9 compliance, and employment documentation requirements
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with HR systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
