JOB PURPOSE:
Provide a variety of services necessary for the employees related to leave,
medical insurance, recruitment, selection, assignment, motivation, training, and
development of qualified employees for a large company. Span more than one
area of functional specialization within the human resources function, such as
compensation, benefits, labor relations, etc
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Policies and Procedures Development
Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of procedures and
guidelines to support the organization in the implementation of, and compliance
with, internal policies and/or external regulations.
HR Data Management
Verify the completeness of HR data provided, and enter the data into HR
information systems, following defined procedures.
HR Data Analytics and Insights
Support in delivering analyses of HR data and identifying trends to contribute to
the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues,
enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business
performance.
Operational Compliance
Follow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the
required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
Carry out a range of onboarding and/or offboarding procedures (for example,
obtaining references, conducting background checks, and other basic vetting
procedures) to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely completion.
Employee Relations Case Management
Provide first-line advice to managers and employees and resolve basic
employee relations issues; refer complex issues, and cases that require
investigation, to senior colleagues.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work, and generate
new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement
Assist with stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and
supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development
planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or
maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve
performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant
technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing
education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
