We seek an HR professional to administer policies relating to all phases of Human Resources activities, such as recruitment, training, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This is a hands-on role, and the right HR professional for this position will love working with the high-capacity and driven professionals at Ntara. The HR role at Ntara is 30% administration, 45% coaching and growing the team, and 25% recruitment. Ntara is a growing company with an expanding and these percentages will change over time.


Essential Functions

  • Administer Human Resources activities such as hiring, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics reporting
  • Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Maintain accurate records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Ensure labor law compliance and that HR practices align with federal, state, and local regulations across all jurisdictions. Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual creation of a strategic sourcing plan for Ntara departments
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting, and ensure the company is in compliance
  • Partner with executive leadership team to review personnel turnover report quarterly and assist in identifying opportunities increasing retention
  • Evaluate current recruitment processes and implement best-practices based recruitment programs including:
    • Sourcing (job boards, social media, networks, professional recruiters, etc.)
    • Applicant funnel analysis (candidate source, preliminary scoring, screening calls, in-person interviews, candidate assessment, background checks, and hiring)
    • Research innovative recruitment strategies/programs and recommend improvements to executive leadership
    • Conduct preliminary interviews and scoring for assigned positions, including reviewing candidate applications and resumes for relevant skills, experience, and education.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding to foster employee retention and alignment to corporate business goals
  • Lead workshops with Ntara management in ongoing best practices, such as interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding Ntara policies, procedures, and programs and provide recommendations regarding the resolution of employee relations issues
  • Coordinate quarterly review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization
  • Facilitate salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify retention opportunities and causes for employee attrition
  • Demonstrate a commitment to data integrity by ensuring accurate, complete, and thorough documentation and tracking for each candidate in Ntara’s applicant tracking system promptly and verifying accuracy
  • Work with senior leadership to develop and refine job descriptions and streamline interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Work closely with marketing on Ntara branding and recruiting initiatives
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
  • Plan and book travel for some employees in all locations, including domestic and international travel. Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or another relevant discipline
  • Preferably, a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in Human Resources
  • Tech-savvy professional with knowledge of HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs). BambooHR preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Demonstrated experience in national labor law compliance and multi-state HR practices. Global HR experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in administering employee benefits programs. Prior experience in benefit review and selection is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
