About the Company

Homegenie Building Products Pvt. Ltd. is a 17-year-old leading manufacturer and marketer of innovative building materials, operating four factories across Tamil Nadu and serving customers across South India.

Role Objective

To manage end-to-end non-IT recruitment for multiple departments across the organization by leveraging consultancy-style sourcing methods, effective candidate screening, and strong coordination with department heads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruitment life cycle — from requirement gathering to onboarding.
  • Understand manpower requirements from HODs and create detailed job descriptions for open roles.
  • Handle recruitment for Sales, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, Accounts, and Admin roles.
  • Source candidates using portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn), employee referrals, and local networks.
  • Conduct screening calls and initial HR interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for technical or functional interviews.
  • Maintain candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and weekly hiring reports.
  • Manage offer letters, joining formalities, and coordinate with HR Operations for onboarding.
  • Achieve monthly hiring targets and turnaround time (TAT).
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of non-IT recruitment (manufacturing, sales, service, logistics sectors).
  • Prior experience in a consultancy or staffing agency is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience using job portals and recruitment databases.
  • Result-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple open positions simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and deadline-driven.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline)
  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resource Management preferred
