Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing
- Update and post job descriptions on various job boards and platforms to attract qualified candidates

Maintain updated candidate applicant information on tracking systems and maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Conduct phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit

Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers

Conduct reference and background checks and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and regulations

Participate in recruitment marketing initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice

Attend job fairs quarterly
Team Support
- Present company policies, procedures, and culture during new hire orientation sessions

Assist in extending job offers and the onboarding process

Updating new hire documents as necessary
Miscellaneous
- Attend staff meetings and quarterly trainings

Enhance job performance by applying up-to-date professional and technical knowledge gained by attending seminars and conferences and reviewing professional publications

Take initiative; demonstrate strong decision-making and organizational skills

Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other HR-related software

Administrative/office work and customer service experience
General
- Reliable transportation required

A flexible work schedule including some schedule changes, some weekends, and evening shifts to meet the department's needs

Detail-oriented and computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required

Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate selection, and employment legislation
