The HR Reporting and Analytics Specialist reports to the Chief People Officer of Guy Carpenter (GC), a Marsh business. This is a critical role, enabling the CPO to help shape and deliver the organization’s people strategy. It combines strategy, reporting/analytics, program management and executive partnership to scope and deliver complex, enterprise-wide people initiatives.
The role is a key member of the GC HR Leadership Team and requires discretion, adaptability, and a solutions mindset with a strong focus on execution. Preferred location is New York City.
We will count on you to:
- Act as the CPO’s strategic partner and primary liaison, translating priorities into actionable plans and driving alignment across HR and the broader enterprise.
- Lead program and project management for global HR initiatives: define scope, set milestones, monitor timelines, mitigate risks, and deliver regular status reports to senior leaders.
- Partner with the CPO to design and execute people-strategy workstreams and special projects, from strategy formulation through implementation and measurement of outcomes.
- Develop and implement an insights-driven HR analytics strategy: define KPIs, oversee data collection and analysis, and surface actionable recommendations for HR and business leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing & Communications, CIS, People Experience COEs, etc.) to co-create solutions and ensure integrated deployment.
- Represent Guy Carpenter on cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as the CPO’s delegate, providing oversight, guidance, and escalation as needed.
- Produce and present people metrics, trend analyses, and reporting packages for HR leadership, client groups, and the Guy Carpenter Executive Committee, including recommended actions.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, and communications for internal leadership meetings, external engagements, and committee reviews.
- Plan and run HR Leadership Team meetings and off-sites: set agendas, compile materials, facilitate sessions, and track follow-up actions and owners.
- Define and execute the CPO’s communication strategy—establish messaging, cadence, and stakeholder engagement to drive awareness and uptake.
What you need to have:
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in HR reporting/analytics, workforce strategy, HR consulting, or program/project management supporting senior leaders.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $87,000 to $174,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
