What is the job?

Acumen Fiscal Agent is looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. The HR Specialist will collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and programs that foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of HR practices, and the ability to resolve employee issues effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission while enhancing your expertise in human resources.

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities.
  • Assist employees with HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR regulations and standards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and foster a positive work environment.
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to improve the HR function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and best HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
