POSITION SUMMARY:
Reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and/or Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer. Manages recruitment and employee relations for Neshaminy Manor. Works closely with Neshaminy Manor and Human Resources as an HR Business Partner for performance management, training, and employee relations matters. Oversees the Administrative Assistant who assists with onboarding.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages recruitment efforts, including but not limited to attending job fairs and events. Conducts interviews. Pursues new methods to actively acquire talent and maintain appropriate staffing levels.

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Human Resources/Neshaminy Manor practices, policies, procedures and applicable laws, union bargaining agreements, regulations and standards which guide operations.

Serves as HR Business Partner to Neshaminy Manor. Recommends, counsels, and advises on a myriad of employment actions including investigations and disciplines. Provides support with employee/management counseling & coaching. Works closely with Neshaminy Manor Administration and Human Resources on these matters.

Assists with training and development of staff on HR-related topics.

Maintains confidentiality at all times regarding all aspects of Human Resources/Neshaminy Manor information.

Maintains a variety of databases for the purpose of report and analysis, as directed, and prepares reports as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred with major/minor/concentration in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Organization Development or Business.

At least two (2) years of Human Resources experience required with a Bachelor’s degree; at least four (4) years of Human Resources experience is required without a degree.

HR certification from either HRCI (PHR, SPHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Public sector experience preferred. Experience working in a long-term care environment preferred.

Must have knowledge of employment laws, recruitment, and employee relations.

Excellent communication, organization and writing skills.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team framework.

Ability to analyze and interpret information and data.

Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

HRIS experience in Lawson and Kronos preferred.

Must have the ability to adapt to technological innovations.

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation with appropriate insurance, as local travel is necessary.
