Key Responsibilities:

The Aga Khan University (AKU) HR is seeking a skilled HR Systems Specialist with expertise in PeopleSoft HCM and Taleo (Applicant Tracking System) to support, enhance, and optimize HR digital platforms. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Analytics, Systems, and Reporting, this role will work closely with Global HR teams, Talent Acquisition, and IT to ensure effective system functionality, integration, and process automation. The specialist will lead HR technology enhancements, streamline talent acquisition processes, improve data accuracy, and enable better decision-making through system-driven insights.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Perform setup, configuration, and maintenance of Taleo modules in alignment with business requirements.
• Analyze and document business requirements, translating them into technical and functional system enhancements.
• Recommend and implement process automation and system-driven solutions to enhance talent acquisition and employee data management.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and coordinate with IT for timely resolution.
• Manage and support Taleo and PeopleSoft modules, ensuring smooth daily operations, user support, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure optimal system utilization and adherence to best practices.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of HR and recruitment data across systems.
• Lead and participate in HR technology projects including new module implementation, system upgrades, and integrations.
• Prepare enhancement documentation, test plans, and system test scripts.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management initiatives.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Recruitment Teams and IT to define and implement improvements in HR systems and workflows.
• Support HR leadership with recommendations on system capabilities, process efficiencies, and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

You should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Degree in Human Resource management will be a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience managing or supporting HR Systems, with hands-on experience in Taleo (Recruiting/Onboarding) and PeopleSoft HCM.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, talent acquisition workflows, and system integrations. Candidates with recent experience will be preferred
• Experience with Taleo setup configuration and integration.
• Candidates with recent, relevant experience in HR technology systems will be preferred
