As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in bringing these values to life by helping attract and onboard people who strengthen our culture and elevate our organization.

What You'll Do

You’ll be a key driver of the candidate and new-hire experience, ensuring every step of the recruitment and onboarding process runs smoothly and professionally.

Support Recruitment Operations

• Manage talent acquisition phone, email and voicemail inquiries.
• Serve as a backup resource for recruitment activities, including candidate prescreening and interview scheduling.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job boards to open, review, manage, and close requisitions.
• Source candidates and conduct initial prescreening interviews.
• Help maintain a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience from first contact through hire.

Own the Onboarding Experience

• Assist with onboarding administration and required hiring documentation.
• Coordinate orientation attendance and onboarding logistics.
• Facilitate New Hire Orientation (NHO), including paperwork completion, benefits enrollment, equipment distribution, access setup, and company introductions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with new hires throughout the onboarding process.

Maintain Excellence Behind the Scenes

• Finalize and maintain job descriptions for new and existing positions.
• Maintain accurate recruiting, hiring, and onboarding records.
• Support Talent Acquisition and HR leadership with administrative projects and special initiatives.

What You Bring

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, HR support, or administrative operations.

Skills & Attributes

• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and job boards.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Conditions of Employment

Employment at Alpha Inc. is contingent upon:

• Completion of standard pre-employment screening.
• Successful completion of a background check conducted after a conditional offer; any prior issues will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis consistent with Hawai'i and federal law.
• Passing a drug test (for both full-time and part-time hires) conducted in line with Hawai'i statutory requirements.
