Job description:
The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving people strategies aligned with business growth and sales performance. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and performance management to ensure HR initiatives directly support the achievement of revenue and business targets. Acting as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership, the HRBP will work on workforce planning, talent development, capability building, and performance optimization across the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Partnership
Partner with Sales Leadership to align HR strategy with business goals and sales targets.
Provide insights on organizational design, workforce productivity, and manpower planning to achieve sales objectives.
Analyze sales performance data and align HR interventions accordingly.
2. Sales Talent Acquisition & Management
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify, attract, and recruit top-performing sales talent.
Define competency models specific to sales roles.
Drive onboarding programs focused on faster productivity ramp-up for sales teams.
3. Performance & Incentive Management
Implement performance management systems tailored to sales-driven KPIs.
Support in defining sales incentive schemes, commission structures, and reward systems.
Drive a high-performance culture by coaching managers on effective goal-setting and performance reviews.
4. Capability Building & Learning
Assess training needs and design targeted learning programs (sales techniques, negotiation, product knowledge).
Develop leadership pipelines for sales managers and future sales leaders.
Facilitate continuous learning through workshops, mentoring, and e-learning platforms.
5. Employee Engagement & Retention
Build employee engagement strategies for high-pressure sales environments.
Address sales team challenges such as attrition, burnout, and motivation.
Design recognition programs to boost morale and align with revenue achievements.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure HR policies are effectively implemented within the sales division.
Handle employee relations and grievance management professionally.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong business acumen with exposure to sales and commercial functions.
Proven experience in HRBP roles with sales-driven organizations (FMCG, Trading, Manufacturing, or Distribution preferred).
Expertise in performance management, incentive design, and workforce planning.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
