Purpose of Position: Under the direct supervision of EVP, HR, Director of Compliance, and HRIS Supervisor the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Administrator is responsible for assisting in implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and improving the performance of the human resources information system. The HRIS Administrator will assist the HRIS Supervisor in maintaining the Paycom HRIS database by verifying data and preparing and distributing reports, including but not limited to: Business Process Workflows, Employee and Manager Self-Service, custom reports, imports, exports, and 3rd party vendor data mapping. This position supports the HRIS Supervisor and will act as a liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, IT, and the software vendor.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the management of all aspects of the (Paycom) HRIS system, including, but not limited to: Recruiting, Onboarding, HR, Payroll, Benefits, Self-Service, and BI Reporting modules, system configuration, and tracking.
- Assist in spearheading all integration projects with HR/Payroll systems such as Cornerstone On-Demand, Active Directory, benefit carriers, etc.
- Supports the HRIS Supervisor and serves as the primary backup for configuring and maintaining the security of the Paycom system.
- Ability to independently research, learn, and educate oneself in creating efficiencies for reporting, overall system configuration, and maintenance of Paycom is a critical component of this position.
- Ability to do simple imports/exports from one system to another (i.e., Property imports from Excel into Paycom).
- Collaborate and provide a Service of Unequalled Excellence with all internal and external colleagues and customers to positively support all levels of the company.
- Assist the HRIS Supervisor in collaborating with software vendors to ensure that all support staff can meet HR, Payroll, and Finance objectives.
- Solves problems concerning Paycom, answers inquiries, and enforces HR/Payroll policies.
- Assist in the development of overall procedures by recommending improvements or changes to the system when deemed necessary for greater efficiency. Must keep policies and procedures updated as changes are made in a manual format.
- Prepares and supports Cognos Business Intelligence reporting needs by developing, administering, updating, and distributing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports as well as dashboard reporting for various levels of the organization. Assists and prepares other special-request ad-hoc reports for Payroll, HR, Finance, and other departments as needed.
- Serves as a secondary contact for setup and maintenance of and administration of system role-based security.
- Adheres to all PHI (Protected Health Information) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines.
- On-site or remote regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. Required to work 8am to 5pm during business operational hours. However, is an exempt role to get the job done.

Job Qualifications
- Must have at least five (3-5) years’ prior experience with Paycom HRIS for a multi-company organization with over 1000 employees.
- Experience and comprehension of creating, revising, or modifying Paycom Reports, alerts, dashboards, and creating or modifying complex expressions is required.
- Accurate data entry skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel (i.e., Vlookup, pivot tables) and Microsoft Word (formatting, comparison of documents, etc.)
- Should be organized, extremely detail-oriented, able to multitask, and able to work with minimal supervision. Project Management experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with and maintain the confidentiality of Human Resources information.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to train others and document processes.
- A self-motivated professional individual who demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Educational Requirements:
- BA/BS required in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related.
- At least three (3) years of Paycom HRIS-related experience required.
- HR certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasionally stand and walk. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
