Function: HR Operations – Compensation & Payroll Interface
Responsibilities
1. Compensation Processing & Administration
Execute day-to-day US compensation activities including salary changes, promotions, job re-levels, new hire compensation setups, and off-cycle adjustments.
Review and validate compensation elements based on compensation structure, market wage bands, and internal policies.
Ensure all compensation updates are submitted accurately in the HRIS (Workday/SuccessFactors).
2. Audit & Quality Control
Conduct regular audits of compensation transactions to ensure high accuracy and compliance.
Validate pay codes, job architecture alignment, and compensation triggers before payroll cut-off.
Support SOX, compliance audits, and documentation requirements.
3. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare weekly/monthly compensation reports and dashboards.
Perform basic trend analysis—salary movements, exceptions, and pay deviation tracking.
Support annual compensation cycle preparation with templates and data checks.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with US HR business partners, recruiters, and compensation teams to resolve compensation queries.
Liaise with Payroll teams for validations and clarification prior to processing.
Participate in process-improvement initiatives to enhance turnaround time and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate/Post-graduate in HR, Finance, or related field.
Good number of years of experience in US HR operations, compensation, payroll, or HR data management.
Strong knowledge of US pay structures, job levels, FLSA classifications, and exempt/non-exempt rules.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Working experience with Workday/SuccessFactors and payroll systems like ADP/SAP Payroll.
Strong Excel skills — VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formulas, validations.
Experience supporting compensation cycles (merit, bonus, market corrections).
Exposure to retail, shared services, or client-facing environments.

Good communication and stakeholder-management capability.
Ability to work under tight US timelines and multiple priorities.
Analytical mindset and ability to identify data issues proactively.
