HR/Payroll Generalist

An established Tacoma area Auto Dealership Group is seeking an Entry Level HR/Payroll Generalist to join our team. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, is self-motivated and has strong attention to detail. Will train, no prior experience required! Strong work ethic and ability to learn and adapt is required.

Overview:

In this roll you will support the full life cycle of the Human Resources and Payroll department, this is multi task and multi store position. Every day may start the same, you will have routine duties that will be interrupted with new opportunities to prioritize and problem solve. No two days will be the same, the pace and duties may vary day to day but in the end, the job gets done on-time.

Job responsibilities include:

· Payroll processing

· Payroll reporting

· Time and attendance

· Tax and year-end

· Garnishments

· Benefits and 401k administration

· COBRA administration

· Leaves of absence administration

· New hire on-boarding

· Compliance

· Personnel file management

· Other various HR/Payroll duties assigned.

Qualified candidates should have:

· Prior office, HR or payroll experience a plus but not required. Will train the right candidate.

· Knowledge of the payroll/general ledger systems & general accounting a plus.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll information required.

· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail required.

· Excellent computer skills, including strong MS Office Suite Word/Excel/Outlook

· Excellent organizational and customer skills.

· Works well along or with others in a team environment and in one on one interactions

· Ability to be well organized, both paper and electronically.

· Ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this role is $25 to $35/hr

This position is full-time, Monday –Friday, we offer competitive pay and generous benefits.
