Performs routine inspections of chemical storage and handling areas to ensure proper labeling, container integrity, compliant storage, and adherence to safety and segregation requirements.
Coordinates the receipt, labeling, communication, distribution, and proper storage of incoming chemical deliveries across assigned departments and locations.
Organizes, stores, and maintains chemical inventories by transferring and staging materials from docks, storage areas, or intersite transfers to designated compliant locations.
Supports chemical receiving and inspection activities by collaborating with Quality Assurance and following established procedures.
Assists with chemical ordering, inventory control, and supply coordination to ensure adequate stock levels, operational readiness, and uninterrupted workflow.
Performs routine waste-handling duties, including collecting, transferring, consolidating, and staging chemical, biological, universal, and process-generated wastes in compliance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
Handles container emptying, waste movement, and preparation tasks for various liquid and solid waste streams to support safe and efficient operations.
Manages the safe handling, organization, and placement of waste materials within central accumulation areas and chemical storage rooms across all assigned site locations.
Performs segregation, preparation, and recycling activities for universal and special wastes such as batteries, aerosols, electronic materials, and other regulated waste categories.
Monitors prepare, and stages liquid waste containers, used oils, and other production-related wastes for compliant storage and scheduled removal by external vendors.
Completes required waste management documentation, logs, and recordkeeping to maintain accuracy, compliance, and readiness for audits or vendor pickups.
Performs scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and condition checks within chemical and waste storage environments at designated locations.
Monitors inventory levels and procure necessary operational supplies, including containers, PPE, drums, absorbents, and related materials.
Coordinates scheduled hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups by preparing documentation, compiling inventory information, staging materials, and communicating with designated waste management vendors.
Verifies materials during vendor visits, assists with staging and loading, and ensures all procedures follow regulatory and organizational requirements.
Facilitates and documents intersite transfers of chemicals or waste materials to maintain compliant and organized storage and operational continuity.
Receives, unloads, stores, and stages transferred materials, ordered supplies, and operational equipment to support overall chemical and waste management functions.
Supports recycling, scrap removal, loading activities, and required documentation return to appropriate departments.
Performs any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor to maintain safety, environmental compliance, and uninterrupted operational performance.
