To strengthen our leadership in safety and compliance, we are seeking an experienced HSE Director to oversee health, safety, and environmental strategies across our operations.

Role Overview

The HSE Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and programs to ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to foster a culture of safety and sustainability across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• HSE strategy: Define and implement comprehensive HSE frameworks.
• Compliance management: Ensure adherence to local and international safety regulations.
• Risk assessment: Identify hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Training programs: Lead safety training and awareness initiatives for employees.
• Incident management: Oversee reporting, investigation, and corrective actions for incidents.
• Sustainability initiatives: Promote environmentally responsible practices across operations.
• Leadership: Mentor and guide HSE teams to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HSE Director or senior HSE leadership role.
• Strong expertise in HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA).
• Knowledge of risk management and emergency response planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

Pay: RO3,200.000 - RO4,500.000 per month
