HSE Engineer

Responsibility:

• Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and site-specific risk assessments.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., OSHAD, ADM, DCD) and project HSE requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities for safety-related matters.
• Maintain proper HSE records and ensure up-to-date documentation for inspections and audits.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of site staff and workers.

Job Specification and Qualification

Department: Health, Safety & Environment

Reports To: HSE Manager / Project Manager

Location: Project Site

Working Hours: As per site schedule

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent with HSE specialization

NEBOSH IGC Certification (mandatory)

Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in UAE construction projects

Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations (OSHAD, DCD, etc.)

Strong communication skills and leadership in promoting safety practices

Ability to prepare HSE reports, risk assessments, and safety audits
