HSE Engineer

JASARA PMC is currently on the lookout for a proactive and experienced HSE Engineer to join our dynamic team. The HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental safeguards across all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and review health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training to employees on health and safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor the effectiveness of HSE programs and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Keep up to date with changes in HSE legislation and standards.
• Prepare and maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in conducting audits and risk assessments.
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications like NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are advantageous.
