We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer to ensure our operations meet the highest health, safety, and environmental standards.
The HSE Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE programs to ensure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and risk assessments in line with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and safety drills at project sites or facilities.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Deliver training and toolbox talks to personnel on safety practices, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.
- Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 3+ years of relevant HSE experience in construction, oil & gas, or utilities
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills.
