HSE Engineer

Ensure that Company’s HSSE policy and procedures are implemented across the project.

Carry out risk assessments prior to start of work tasks, reviews construction method statements for compliance to HSSE requirements and advises construction department on HSSE requirements.

Record and report HSSE statistics to the project HSSE manager and project manager as required.

Advise project personnel on safety issues

Organize HSSE officers daily schedule to ensure maximum site presence of HSSE staff.

Monitor project activities to ensure compliance to project HSSE requirements across the project.

Carry out site inspections with construction supervision to ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.

Act as first aider when required.

Act as focal point during emergency response to accidents and incidents.

Prepare reports on accidents and incidents.

Investigate causes of near misses and carries out root cause analysis.

Prepare reports for project HSSE manager on incidents and subsequent investigations.

Act as a focal point for HSSE training and inductions for all project staff.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• HSE: 5 years (Preferred)
