HSE Engineer

Job Title: HSE Engineer – Offshore Site Project

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team for an offshore site project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site operations. This position requires a strong understanding of offshore safety standards, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO, OHSAS, ADNOC, etc.)
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and toolbox talks on-site
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times
• Investigate incidents/accidents and report findings with corrective actions
• Liaise with project management and offshore teams to promote a culture of safety
• Monitor waste management, environmental impacts, and ensure pollution control measures are in place
• Maintain up-to-date records of safety drills, inductions, and training sessions
• Ensure emergency response plans are up-to-date and well-communicated

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant HSE qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.)
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in offshore oil & gas or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HSE offshore regulations and standards
• Physically and mentally prepared to relocate and work offshore
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Immediate availability is preferred
