HSE Engineer

Job Title: HSE Engineer – Healthcare Facilities

Location: Qatar

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer with mandatory experience in healthcare facilities to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within hospital and medical facility environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures in healthcare facilities
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international HSE standards
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections
• Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor infection control, waste management, and hospital safety practices
• Coordinate with project teams, facility management, and medical staff
• Conduct safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices
• Liaise with authorities and attend HSE inspections when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Proven experience as an HSE Engineer in healthcare/hospital projects (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and compliance
• Certifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH preferred
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• GCC/Qatar experience preferred
