Job Summary:
The Health & Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within the offset printing facility. The role involves implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance, minimizing workplace hazards, and promoting a culture of safety among employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local safety laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of printing machines, chemicals, electrical systems, and warehouse areas.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor safe handling and storage of inks, solvents, chemicals, and paper materials.
- Conduct fire safety drills and emergency response training.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports.
- Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure machine safety standards.
- Promote employee awareness regarding occupational health and environmental safety.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
- Relevant certification in Health & Safety (NEBOSH / IOSH preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing or printing industry.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and chemical handling procedures.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
