HSE Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Nationality: Omani Only
  • Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or related field
  • NEBOSH certification (mandatory); additional HSE certifications are an advantage
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in HSE within construction/engineering projects
  • At least 8 years of experience in Oman/GCC, preferably in real estate and infrastructure projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project HSE requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification (HIRA), and safety audits
  • Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
  • Lead HSE training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks for site personnel
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of all construction activities

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.)
  • Experience in construction safety management and environmental controls
  • Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and emergency response planning
  • Ability to prepare HSE reports, statistics, and compliance documentation

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage the HSE team on-site
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all project stakeholders
  • Ability to enforce HSE compliance and take proactive safety measures

Communication & Reporting:

  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills

Pay: RO2,000.000 - RO2,100.000 per month
