Qualifications & Experience:
- Nationality: Omani Only
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or related field
- NEBOSH certification (mandatory); additional HSE certifications are an advantage
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in HSE within construction/engineering projects
- At least 8 years of experience in Oman/GCC, preferably in real estate and infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project HSE requirements
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification (HIRA), and safety audits
- Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
- Lead HSE training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks for site personnel
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of all construction activities
Technical Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.)
- Experience in construction safety management and environmental controls
- Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and emergency response planning
- Ability to prepare HSE reports, statistics, and compliance documentation
Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage the HSE team on-site
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project stakeholders
- Ability to enforce HSE compliance and take proactive safety measures
Communication & Reporting:
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
Pay: RO2,000.000 - RO2,100.000 per month
