HSE Manager

Are you a seasoned HSE professional with strong leadership experience in large-scale building projects?

Ali & Sons Contracting is looking for a highly capable Project HSE Manager to lead and drive health, safety, and environmental excellence across our construction projects.

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company, client, and legislative HSE standards while promoting a proactive safety culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and administer Project HSE strategies and lead the implementation of Project HSE Management Systems in line with the Company’s QMS
• Develop and implement project-specific HSE Plans aligned with client HSE management systems
• Oversee project HSE programs and ensure safe work permits are applied and issued on time
• Schedule and conduct regular HSE inspections and site walk-throughs across project sites
• Ensure company offices and project sites operate in compliance with company, client, and legal HSE requirements and standards
• Coordinate closely with on-site construction management teams and act as the key HSE liaison
• Interpret and advise on applicable OH&S and HSE legislation related to construction projects
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures
• Participate in internal and external HSE audits
• Conduct regular HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and safety awareness initiatives on- site
• Prepare HSE reports and provide updates to management regarding project safety performance

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Level 6 Diploma in Health & Safety
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive HSE experience within the construction industry with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Strong experience working with main contractors on large-scale building construction projects
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and promote a strong safety culture across project teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic will be considered an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED23,000.00 - AED26,000.00 per month
