HSE Officer

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer (ADNOC Certified) to join our team in the Facilities Management sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations, ensuring full compliance with ADNOC and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and standards in line with UAE regulations and company requirements.

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safe working practices are followed.

• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety documentation for all activities.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive measures.

• Organize safety toolbox talks, inductions, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with client-specific HSE requirements and statutory obligations.

• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of firefighting and first-aid equipment.

• Support ISO certifications, audits, and sustainability initiatives related to HSE.

• Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure.

• Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace health and safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Science with specialization in Occupational Health & Safety.

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience in HSE, preferably in Facilities Management/Construction/MEP sectors.

• Certified in NEBOSH IGC/IOSH/OSHA (mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of UAE Federal Laws, Civil Defense regulations, and other HSE standards.

• Good communication and reporting skills (verbal and written).

• Ability to train and influence multicultural workforce.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or government projects.

• Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).

• Strong analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
