HSE Officer

Responsibilities:

• Overall In-charge of Safety of all employees in Project Sites, Warehouse and Office
• Plan and implement Health and Safety Policies and programs
• Conduct Risk Assessment and prepares MSRA in coordination with PM/CM
• Enforce Preventive Measures
• Ensure all employees are acting in adherence with Health & Safety Rules & Regulations -Before commencing work, ensure compliance with health and safety policy and program and make it clear to employees that failure to do so could result in termination of contract. -Subcontractors’ personnel brought on site shall have undergone practical training and their services will be supported by relevant certificates.
• Prepare Reports on Accidents, violations and come up with corrective and preventive action. Cooperate in accident investigations.
• Provides adequate safe tools, equipment for the job and necessary personal protective equipment
• In Charge of Certification to standards related To Health and Safety and other requirement of the company
• Provides first aid in case of any injury and safely transports the person for further medical consultation if required
• Keeps proper follow up for all injuries and illnesses,
• Maintains the first aid facilities on site and attends to all injured Personnel at the worksite,
• Checks the first aid box to ensure that the contents are replenished regularly,
• Maintains a record for all first aid cases in the accident register and shall be readily available.
• Ensure All subcontractors will adopt the company’s Quality, Health & Safety Management System.
• Must inform about any incident/accident to the company and shall submit accident statistics periodically.
• Notify superintendent of any lost-time injuries, medical aid cases, and reportable occurrences on the Project.

Qualifications:

• With Bachelors Degree in related field
• Must have professional certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH
