HSE Officer

Ink Green General Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE Officer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety measures, monitoring operations for compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and ensuring that safety protocols are implemented effectively on all job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at the workplace.
• Ensure that all employees are trained in safety procedures and have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Investigate accidents and incidents, identify causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on legal and regulatory requirements related to HSE.
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and standards on-site and during project execution.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, logs, and records for internal and external audits.
• Organize safety drills, toolbox talks, and safety awareness campaigns.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Sound knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office , Excel and email.
