We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HSE Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement and monitor the company’s HSE policies in compliance with legal, regulatory, and client requirements.
· Support ongoing projects by integrating HSE standards into all operational activities.
· Prepare and maintain accurate HSE reports in line with contractual and legal obligations.
· Conduct regular workplace inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
· Assist with incident investigations, risk assessments, and root cause analyses.
· Prepare HSE reports, safety bulletins, and internal communications to promote safety awareness.
· Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
· Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction sessions, and other safety training programs.
· Inspect subcontractor operations and facilities to ensure compliance with company HSE standards.
· Maintain digital safety records and registers (inspections, incidents, and training).
· Participate in internal and external HSE audits.
· Analyze safety trends using MS Office and Power BI to prepare management dashboards and reports.
· Manage and update the “Lessons Learned” database to support continuous improvement.
· Review safety documentation, work procedures, and plans for accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience as an HSE or Safety Officer (preferably in industrial or construction-related environments).
· NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
· Strong understanding of occupational safety regulations, hazardous materials, and risk management practices.
· Proven experience in conducting audits, inspections, and HSE reporting.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and Power BI.
· Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
· Experience with Safety Management Information Systems (SMIS) will be an added advantage.
