HSE Officer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to support our project operations and ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations, TAQA standards, and company policies. The ideal candidate will oversee site safety activities, conduct inspections, develop safety plans, and promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the company’s HSE policies, procedures, and project-specific HSE plans.
• Conduct daily site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation: JSA, TRA, PTW, incident reports, toolbox talk records, etc.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and site trainings for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents/near misses and prepare corrective & preventive action plans.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure safe execution of activities (excavation, lifting, hot works, confined space entry, etc.).
• Maintain HSE performance KPI records and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Support audits and inspections conducted by clients and authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as HSE officer, preferably in mechanical/pipeline/civil construction projects.
• NEBOSH IGC (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations.
• Experience in PTW system, heavy equipment safety, and excavation safety.
• Good communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
• Ready to join immediately or with short notice (preferred).
• Valid UAE driving license.
