HSE Officer

The HSE Officer shall possess a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in oil & gas projects and hold a recognized HSE qualification such as NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely. The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements for the Dukhan CP project in compliance with QatarEnergy (QP) HSE Management System, Dukhan Operations procedures, Project HSE Plan, and QP Life Saving Rules.

Responsibilities :

• Effective implementation of the Project HSE Plan and coordination with QP Dukhan Area Authority.
• Completion and enforcement of JSA / TRA, approved Method Statements, and SIMOPS controls.
• Strict compliance with QP Permit to Work (PTW) system, including excavation, electrical, and cold work permits.
• Continuous site safety supervision, including barricading, signage, and access control near live pipelines and operating facilities.
• Safe execution of CP and electrical activities, including LOTO, earthing, and use of authorized personnel only.
• Compliance with excavation and trenching safety requirements and proper site reinstatement.
• Proper use of PPE, workforce safety monitoring, and heat stress management.
• Environmental protection, waste management, and spill prevention measures.
• Emergency preparedness, incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action tracking.
• Maintenance of HSE documentation, reporting, and support during QP audits and inspections.
• Verification of workforce training, induction, and competency requirements.
