HSE Officer Required
Qatar resin is seeking to appoint a highly experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate must be capable of implementing the highest standards of occupational health, safety, and environmental protection, while ensuring full compliance with the regulatory requirements in the State of Qatar.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
•Minimum 5 years of practical experience (preferred) in Health, Safety, and Environment within resin manufacturing plants or chemical industries.
•Advanced knowledge of chemical materials and resins, including associated hazards and safe handling procedures.
•Proven experience with QatarEnergy (QE) requirements, including:
•Approved HSE systems and procedures.
•Permit and approval requirements.
•QatarEnergy audit and inspection processes.
•Full knowledge of local Qatari laws and regulations related to Health, Safety, and Environment.
•Ability to prepare, review, and update:
•HSE policies and procedures.
•Risk Assessments.
•Emergency response and contingency plans.
•Incident and accident investigation reports.
•Experience in HSE management systems.
•Ability to conduct HSE awareness and training programs to enhance safety culture among employees.
•Strong communication and coordination skills with government authorities, consultants, and clients.
•Proficiency in computer applications and preparation of technical reports.
•Excellent command of English (spoken and written); Arabic language skills are an advantage.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Implementing and monitoring HSE policies and systems within the plant.
•Ensuring full compliance with QatarEnergy requirements and other regulatory authorities.
•Coordinating with relevant authorities to obtain all required permits and approvals.
•Conducting regular site inspections and identifying potential hazards.
•Preparing periodic HSE performance reports and submitting them to senior management.
•Investigating accidents and incidents and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
•Monitoring safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure proper usage.
•Participating in internal and external audits.
•Supporting management in improving environmental performance and reducing industrial risks.
