JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures in warehouse operations
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections of storage areas, loading docks, and operational zones
- Identify workplace hazards such as manual handling risks, vehicle movement, and falling objects
- Perform risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures
- Monitor high-risk activities and ensure safe work practices are followed
- Oversee safe storage, stacking, and handling of goods
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Implement and monitor traffic management systems for vehicles and pedestrians
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions
- Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate records of safety performance
- Conduct safety inductions and regular training for warehouse staff and drivers
- Promote awareness on PPE usage and safe work practices
- Support the development of a proactive safety culture
- Ensure availability and maintenance of fire protection equipment
- Conduct emergency drills (fire evacuation, spill response, etc.)
- Develop and maintain emergency response procedures
- Monitor waste management and housekeeping standards
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials (if applicable)
- Promote environmentally responsible practices
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred
- 2–5 years of HSE experience in logistics or warehousing
- Knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
