HSE Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices for our joinery and fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and minimizing risks on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on site
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
  • Identify hazards and take corrective/preventive actions
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers
  • Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
  • Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports
  • Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel
  • Coordinate with project managers and supervisors on safety matters
  • Monitor subcontractors to ensure HSE compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field
  • NEBOSH/IOSH certification is mandatory
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery, fit-out, or construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage site safety independently

Preferred:

  • Experience in UAE/GCC projects
  • Immediate availability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
