Summary
The ideal candidate will assist in implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at the workplace. The HSE Officer supports the HSE team in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment, in accordance with UAE laws, company standards, and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Daily duties may include the following activities:

Assist in daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, or unsafe acts.

Support the enforcement of HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on-site.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions.

Record and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; assist in investigations.

Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers.

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HSE documentation and records (e.g. risk assessments, permits to work, MSDS, checklists).

Monitor compliance with safety signage, housekeeping, and emergency equipment standards.

Coordinate with contractors, workers, and supervisors to promote safety awareness.

Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, standards, and practices.

Support emergency drills and first aid coordination as required.

Third Party Certifications: arranging inspection, maintaining records, negotiating pricing, Verifying Summaries to issue PO

Equipment and Vehicles Registrations Monitoring and Arranging Passings on sites

Preparation of Workmen's Compensation claims and insurance settlements

Monthly Vehicle inspection checklists for all company vehicles

Site visitor induction before entering the premises
Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Certifications
-
NEBOSH IGC (mandatory)
-
Basic First Aid and Fire Safety (advantage)

IOSH Managing Safely (optional)
Experience
-
3–5 years of experience in a similar HSE role (internship or site exposure preferred)
Skills
-
Good communication skills (English is a must; Urdu & Hindi is an advantage)

Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards

Strong observation and reporting skills

Computer literacy (MS Office, Report writing)

UAE Driving License
