Full job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Responsible for the safety of all personnel deployed by the company.
• To be aware of all safety regulations of the country in general and projects in particular.
• Liaise effectively between site personnel and office management to ensure that all safety requirements are in order.
• Give continuous guidance to workforce on the importance of maintaining safety standards.
• Understand the safety procedures required for the projects based on their nature and communicate effectively with the personnel at sites.
• Attend safety meetings regularly as directed by the main contractor based on project specifications.
• Periodical reports on safety to be submitted to the management with adequate mention of shortages and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure that all site personnel are in possession of personal protection equipment.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks with chargehands/foremen/supervisors on sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 -5 YEARS OF UAE EXPERIENCE IN CONTRACTING FIELD, MUST HAVE NEBOSH & IOSH CERTIFICATE

Experience:

• HSE Officer or HSE Supervisor: 2 years (Required)
• Construction Company: 2 years (Required)
• GCC/UAE: 2 years (Preferred)
