HSE Officer

HSE Officer – Abu Dhabi

Location: Abu Dhabi (Offshore visits as required)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical), HSE, or equivalent.
• Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) mandatory.
• UAE/Middle East experience preferred.

Experience:

• 7–8 years of total experience with at least 5 years as an HSE Officer in the Oil & Gas industry.
• ADNOC project/site experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE/HSSE Management Systems in compliance with ADNOC standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, and site safety monitoring activities.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely reporting and corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Assist in developing HSE policies, procedures, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and ADNOC stakeholders on HSE matters.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of HSEMS, ADNOC HSE standards, and Oil & Gas safety practices.
• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to promote a positive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
