Key Responsibilities1. Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, Dubai Municipality, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Implement and monitor company HSE policies and procedures on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
2. Site Monitoring & Enforcement
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Issue safety violation notices and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Supervise high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, excavation, and confined space entry.
3. Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain HSE documentation, records, and statistics.
- Support management in preparing monthly HSE reports.
4. Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety inductions for new workers and visitors.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Promote safety awareness campaigns across project sites.
- Ensure competency certification for operators and skilled workers.
5. Environmental Management
- Monitor waste management, housekeeping, and environmental protection measures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental guidelines and sustainability standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC (mandatory).
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in building construction projects in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations.
- Experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use developments preferred.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and enforce safety standards on-site.
