HSE OFFICER/ENGINEER

JJob Title: HSE Officer (Infrastructure / Potable Water Pipeline Projects)

Location: Liwa, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and competent HSE Officer with a strong background in potable water pipeline and infrastructure works within the UAE/GCC region. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements in compliance with project specifications, client standards, and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with project HSE plans, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and site safety inspections.
• Monitor work activities to ensure safe execution, especially for excavation, pipeline installation, lifting, and confined space works.
• Ensure compliance with authority requirements (TAQA/ADDC/AADC/TRANSCO/ADNOC).
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to promote a strong safety culture on site.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completed Senior Secondary School.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 3 YEAR Diploma in HSE / Engineering (MOFA Attested).
• NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory).
• Valid UAE Driving License (Preferred).
• Competency/approval from ADDC, AADC, TRANSCO, ADNOC, or Musanada is highly preferable.
• Candidates on visit visa / immediate availability will be given preference.

• The position is based in Liwa (Western Region, Abu Dhabi).
