HSE Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety plans on site
• Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and site safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE standards and client safety requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
• Monitor work permits, PPE compliance, lifting activities, work at height, and confined space activities
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2+ years of UAE experience as an HSE/Safety Engineer
• NEBOSH is certification Mandatory
• Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage site safety activities effectively
• Candidates with SARS Card will be an added advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in construction projects
• Familiarity with PTW system, emergency response, and incident investigation
• Immediate joiners preferred
