Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) plans within the workplace in accordance with legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Design, communicate, and enforce policies aimed at fostering a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Assess workplace practices, procedures, and facilities to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions and presentations on health, safety, environmental issues, and accident prevention to enhance employee awareness.
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with established policies and regulations through regular inspections of operations and employee activities.
  • Investigate workplace accidents or incidents to determine root causes and manage workers’ compensation claims effectively.
  • Provide recommendations for addressing issues, implementing improvements, and introducing new safety measures to mitigate risks.
  • Compile and report on health, safety, and environmental performance, trends, and statistical data to inform management and stakeholders.
  • Regularly review and update internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are aligned with current regulations and best practices; conduct hazard and risk assessments to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with specific reporting and record-keeping requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Exercise authority to halt work activities in the event of unsafe acts or conditions to protect employee health and safety.


Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or science or any relevant discipline.
  • Experience from 7 to 10 years in HSE with at least 2-3 years in leadership role.
  • Certified (NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001:2015)
  • Ability to develop and implement HSE policies, procedures and programs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Good Command of English.
