HSE Specialist

We are looking for an HSE Specialist to join our team in Kocaeli. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of effective Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and initiatives, ensuring full compliance with company standards and legal requirements, and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the BU Manager and HSE Director in planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Ensure compliance with company HSE standards and legal requirements across all business areas
• Conduct regular HSE audits and risk assessments, ensuring appropriate actions are implemented
• Provide expert advice and support to other departments on all HSE-related matters
• Develop and implement HSE plans in line with company policies, client requirements, and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001)
• Promote HSE awareness among employees and contractors through trainings and toolbox talks
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented
• Attend pre-job and planning meetings to provide HSE guidance
• Support the development of emergency response plans and drills
• Monitor and report HSE performance indicators
• Ensure all worksites comply with HSE requirements and company safety standards

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum C-Class HSE Certificate (NEBOSH is a plus)
• 1–2 years of experience in an HSE role
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Class B driver’s license
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team
