Collaborate with employees and supervisors to identify and correct potential safety and


health hazards to consistently administer all aspects of accident prevention, fire protection,


first aid, and other safety policies


· Implement safe standard work practices with line personnel and monitors conformance


through safety and housekeeping inspections to ensure the effective impelmentation of


OC’s HSE plan.


· Ensure compliance with organization and government health and safety standards.


· Audit new products, equipment, and processes for potential hazards and recommends


modifications before introduction.


· Audit safety and health performance and recommends actions for improvement


· Perform risk analysis/Hazard Operability (HAZOP) and implement loss prevention program


for OC’s installations and operations.


· Audit & ensure effective implementation of any project safety committees as per Egyptian


labor law, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.


· Oversee the implementation of surveys, assessment visits and HSE audits of subcontractors


to ensure their compliance with project and OC’s HSE requirments.


· Follow up on latest developments in the field of safety and participate in safety meetings


and other awareness programs.


· Conduct air quality, noise, temperature, etc testing to ensure legal/policy compliance.


· Implement OC procedures for incident investigation to determine facts and event


circumstances, determine cause(s) and develop/implement remedial actions and controls to


eliminate or reduce future risk.


· Audit the preparation of the site evacuation safety plans & ensure it is timely


implemntation.


· Recommend updates/participate in revising existing policies to develop new ways to


manage safety concerns at OC.


· Recommend training requirements on legal requirements and company HSE policy.


· Engage actively with, and use technology and equipment allocated to unit


· Right/authorities to stop the work, and take the necessary action in case if he found unsafe


act/ condition


· Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department


· Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and


environmental aspects.
